Thanksgiving 2013

This year for Thanksgiving we were able to just really relax which was so nice and much needed..and surprisingly, Tommy DIDN'T have to work. What?! So we just went to Mel and Gabe's, ate way too much food, then headed to the park where a bunch of the Stapley crew came and played kickball and just let the kids run around and it was great! (even when Lyla ran to the middle of the soccer field, pulled down her pants, and peed. Yep) I've become the worst picture taker and am so mad about it later so this is the only picture I got on Thanksgiving and it was my mom who took it. oops :( At least Trig and Avery looked cute!

I'm so grateful this year for my blessings. Thanksgiving seems to be all about food and football now days but I really enjoy the time I have to reflect on what I am grateful for. a few being..

1. My husband. words cannot describe how much I love that man. His devotion, hard work, selflessness, good looks, and love for me are a few of the reasons why.
2. My beautiful babes. Lyla has and always will be my baby..my princess..the one who made me a mother first. I will never be able to thank her for that. When I got pregnant with Trig I had no idea how I was possibly going to love another baby like I love Lyla..then he came and holy cow. I am obsessed :)
3. The Gospel. Who knows where I would be without it.
4. My amazing family.
5. My amazing in laws.

I could go on for awhile but those are the ones that stuck out in my head this year the most. I am blessed.

Halloween 2013

Tommy had to work on Halloween.. I feel like I start a loot of my sentences with that line, TOMMY HAD TO WORK.. boo.. oh well. So I dressed the kids up and went to Mel's house for some trick or treating, fire pit, and food! It was pretty fun and my kids were pretty dang cute! Ly was Cinderelli of course and Trig was a puppy.. last minute day of costume, don't judge me. Everything has been so much crazier, funner, and happier since our little man came along and Halloween was no exception!

Ly decided she liked Trigs costume better than hers :)

A few days before Halloween we decided to paint/carve pumpkins with Brian and Jessica and their girls and it was a blast! Tommy was quite fond of his pumpkin carving skills :)
